Cincinnati Virtual Special Educator | Remote Learning Disabilities Specialist

VocoVision is seeking a specialized Special Education Teacher to provide virtual instruction and support for students with specific learning disabilities in Cincinnati. This remote position allows you to deliver targeted interventions and specialized instruction to help students overcome learning challenges and achieve academic success. Position Details Full-time schedule (35-37.5 hours weekly) Elementary through high school students (K-12) Caseload of approximately 45-55 students Focus on specific learning disabilities in reading, writing, and mathematics Virtual delivery of evidence-based interventions Collaboration with general education teachers on accommodations Core Responsibilities Develop and implement IEPs with appropriate goals and accommodations Deliver specialized instruction in areas of specific learning disabilities Implement evidence-based reading, writing, and math interventions Provide explicit instruction in learning strategies and compensatory techniques Monitor student progress using curriculum-based measurements Adapt general education curriculum materials for accessibility Maintain detailed documentation of student performance and response to intervention Facilitate virtual IEP meetings with educational team and parents Consult with general education teachers on effective differentiation strategies Collaborate with related service providers for integrated support Required Qualifications Master's degree in Special Education Valid Ohio special education teaching license Minimum 2 years experience working with students with learning disabilities Training in structured literacy instruction and reading interventions Experience with evidence-based writing and mathematics interventions Knowledge of assistive technology for learning disabilities Proficiency with progress monitoring and data-based decision making Strong virtual teaching and engagement skills Reliable internet connection and appropriate technology for remote instruction If interested, apply here or contact: Alex Gonzalez 470-900-4181
