As a Student Success Coach, you'll play a vital role in helping students overcome challenges, develop essential skills, and reach their full potential. **The Role** As an Experienced Student Success Coach, you'll be responsible for assisting students throughout their education program with blithequark. You'll work with each student to create a personalized learning plan, providing guidance, support, and encouragement to help them achieve academic success. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Supporting enrollment, student development, and retention services while ensuring a quality learning experience * Managing a group of assigned students and coaching each through their degree program, through proactive and timely outreach * Encouraging and supporting students through daily and weekly outreach as they work to develop skills and knowledge for academic success * Providing a trusted environment where students can share their thoughts, aspirations, concerns, and interests * Offering and teaching students how to use resources to help maximize the success of each student * Becoming a certified resume reviewer to provide resume and career development support * Serving as a liaison for students, enabling them to connect with various departments **What We're Looking For** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent) * Two or more years of experience in academic/admissions support, customer service, human resources, and/or counseling * Knowledge of academic policies and procedures * Ability to learn technical skills quickly * Excellent communication/listening skills, including a pleasant phone manner * Strong customer support focus and attention to details **What We Offer** As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including: * Salary Range between $23 and $24 per hour * Paid time off * Comprehensive medical, pharmaceutical, dental, and vision benefits * Health savings and flexible spending accounts * 401(k) Savings Plan * Life and Disability Insurance * Tuition assistance * Employee Stock Purchase Plan * Additional benefits including an Employee Assistance Program, prenatal and adoption assistance, and other voluntary benefits to select from * Become a Certified Professional Resume Writer through paid certification by PARWCC (Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches) * Most benefits apply to full-time employees. We hire people from all time zones that have availability during our hours of operation, in support of our students.
