Our five core values—Integrity, Excellence, Ownership, Coachability, and Teamwork—guide everything we do. ________________________________________ Role Overview Our litigators handle complex disputes involving financial records, business valuation issues, forensic accounting questions, cash flow reconstruction, and asset tracing. Many lawyers are strong legal strategists but not trained financial analysts. We are seeking a financially sophisticated professional who can bridge that gap. You will serve as the internal financial engine supporting our litigation team—helping translate messy financial data into organized, intelligible, decision-ready analysis. This is not a bookkeeping role. This is a high-trust analytical position requiring structured thinking, financial fluency, and the ability to independently manage large volumes of data with precision. ________________________________________ Core Responsibilities Financial Data Organization & Reconstruction •Analyze bank statements, credit card records, general ledgers, and transaction histories • Track deposits and withdrawals across multiple accounts • Reconstruct cash flows over multi-year periods • Identify patterns, inconsistencies, or suspicious transactions • Build clean, attorney-ready financial summaries from raw data Asset Identification & Valuation Support • Gather and organize financial information relevant to: o Business valuation o Real estate valuation o Equity ownership analysis o Capital account tracking o Investment performance review • Support attorneys in preparing financial exhibits for court filings • Assist in calculating damages models and loss analyses Litigation Financial Support • Create clear Excel models that: o Track financial movement o Summarize transaction categories o Identify net transfers o Reconcile disputed amounts • Prepare deposition-ready financial summaries • Assist in organizing discovery productions involving financial records • Work alongside attorneys to prepare expert witness data packets Data Management & Visualization • Convert raw financial records into structured spreadsheets • Build pivot tables and dashboards for litigation strategy discussions • Create visual summaries (charts, timelines, asset maps) • Maintain clean, organized data repositories Cross-Functional Collaboration • Participate in litigation workflow meetings • Coordinate with paralegals and attorneys • Translate financial concepts into clear, non-technical explanations ________________________________________ Qualifications Required • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field • Minimum 3+ years experience in: o Financial analysis o Forensic accounting o Investment analysis o Valuation support o Audit or transaction advisory • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (formulas, pivot tables, reconciliation, modeling) • Strong English writing and communication skills • Experience handling large data sets with high accuracy Strongly Preferred • Experience supporting litigation or disputes • Familiarity with business valuation methodologies • Experience reconstructing financial records from incomplete data • Understanding of U.S. GAAP principles • Exposure to forensic accounting or fraud investigations • Experience building damages models • Ability to review QuickBooks exports and general ledgers ________________________________________ Technology Requirements • Reliable high-speed internet connection • Professional-grade microphone and camera • Quiet, distraction-free workspace • Ability to work comfortably with: o Excel (advanced level) o PDF financial records o Cloud-based document management systems o AI-assisted research and analytics tools ________________________________________ What Success Looks Like Within 60–90 days, you will: • Independently organize multi-year financial records • Deliver clean, accurate financial summaries without requiring constant correction • Anticipate what attorneys need before being asked • Improve litigation efficiency by reducing attorney time spent on math-heavy analysis • Become the go-to internal resource for financial clarity in disputes ________________________________________ Why This Role Is Unique You will not be performing routine bookkeeping.
