They are seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant responsible for processing vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and managing payments while performing monthly reconciliations. Responsibilities - Analyzing and processing invoices and employee reimbursements for payments in a timely and accurate manner - Ensure proper coding and approvals in accordance with company policy - Review and reconcile credit card transactions, ensuring proper coding and supporting documentation - Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor and employee records - Respond to vendor and employee inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies professionally and promptly - Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer, including uploading positive pay files - Assist with month-end closing by preparing accruals - Support internal audits and external financial audits by providing required documentation - Prepare weekly disbursement summary for cash report - Additional responsibilities as requested by leadership Skills - Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting - Associate's degree in finance or accounting + 1 year of applicable work experience - High school diploma/GED + 2 years of applicable work experience - Applicable work experience includes comparable roles in the accounting industry - Proficiency in Microsoft Office products - Experience in Accounting ERP system With strong preference and proficiency in Sage Intacct, Paymerang, Emburse Professional, and FloQast - At least 21 years of age - TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements Benefits - 5 weeks of Paid Time off and 11 Paid Holidays - Comprehensive benefits package: Medical, dental, vision, chiropractic, acupuncture, and fertility coverage - 50% paid premiums for dependents - Long-term disability, family leave, and life insurance - 403b Retirement Plan - Employer-paid Employee Assistance Plan - Seneca is a Public Service Loan Forgiveness certified employer - Scholarship opportunities, ongoing training, and professional development opportunities - Promotional opportunities across the agency in California and Washington Company Overview - For more than four decades, Seneca has offered a simple promise to each youth and every family we serve: No matter how profound the difficulties you face, we will be with you every step of the way.
