SR Contracts Manager (REMOTE):
1st SHIFT: 8 am -5 pm
Pay Rate: $48.94/hr
This role will support Supply Chain Contracts and is a strategic partner within the Supply Chain organization. This position coordinates with business partners for supply chain contract matters, manages a portfolio of supplier contracts, communicates with supply chain leadership to develop, implement, and execute on strategic contract initiatives to achieve business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Drafts, generates, negotiates, interprets, and manages contract documents, in accordance with internal and external customer schedules and requests.
• Works with program managers to draft Master Terms Agreements, Purchase Agreements, flow down provisions, assertion letters, settlement agreements and other related agreements.
• Performs analysis and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters, including government procurement and cost control guidelines.
• Uses legal resources and other subject matter experts to ensure all levels of risk are recognized and addressed through contract terms and conditions
• Identifies opportunities to streamline workflow and improve quality of work product.
• Track and report key functional metrics to improve effectiveness.
• Maintains historical legal records.
• Briefs Management and other functional areas on contract status, risk mitigation and contingency plans based on developed recommendations.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience
• Advanced Degree and 3 years of relevant experience
• In the absence of a degree, 9 years of experience is Required
• (8 hour day M-F) Looking for a candidate who has Contracts experience and has a good attitude, willing to learn and hit the ground running.
