Job Description
Responsible for investigating and confirming facts of loss for complex automobile accidents. Determines coverage, liability, damages, adjusts and negotiates claims within authority limits. Mentors junior staff. This is a remote auto claims adjuster role; ideal candidates will have auto claims experience and can sit in any time zone. Currently, we do not hire in CA, CO, WA, HI, or NY.
Key Responsibilities
• Assesses subrogation or fraud potential for complex cases
• Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies, industry standards, and organizational relationships
• Handles investigations of all aspects of complex auto claims with discretion and independence
• For injury claims, reviews, evaluates, and negotiates moderate to complex injury claims
• Recognizes vehicle body parts and other property damage
• Identifies customer needs and utilizes appropriate customer service skills
Education
Preferably a 4-year Bachelor's Degree
Experience
Preferably 3+ years of auto claims experience
Supervisory Responsibilities
No supervisory duties.

Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

Compensation
Base salary ranges from $52,000 to $85,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation may include incentives such as bonuses or commissions.
