Job Description:
• The Change and Vulnerability Management Specialist is responsible for managing system changes and coordinating vulnerability remediation efforts to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient IT operations.
• This role works closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and security teams to maintain system integrity and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
Change Management:
• Initiate, document, and submit change requests for system modifications, upgrades, and patches following company policies.
• Collaborate with technical teams to gather necessary information for change requests, including implementation plans, back-out plans, and risk assessments.
• Liaise with the Change Management team and stakeholders to ensure proper review, approval, and scheduling of changes.
• Ensure all changes adhere to established standards and best practices for the financial industry.
• Monitor the progress of changes and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
• Participate in post-implementation reviews to assess the success and impact of completed changes.
Vulnerability Management:
• Work with security teams to identify, prioritize, and track vulnerabilities within systems.
• Raise and manage change requests for patches and security updates to remediate identified vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate with technical teams to schedule and execute vulnerability remediation efforts.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all vulnerability-related changes and outcomes.
Process and Standards:
• Collaborate with the Change Management team to define, refine, and enforce standards for system changes.
• Ensure all change and vulnerability management processes comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, Client).
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of change and vulnerability management frameworks.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in change management, IT operations, or a similar role, preferably within financial services.
• Strong understanding of IT change management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
• Familiarity with vulnerability management processes and security best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with technical teams, management, and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• ITIL certification.
• Experience with change management and vulnerability management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Tenable.io, Qualys).
