About the position Malbon is looking for a CRM Manager to own and scale our customer communication channels—Email, SMS, and Push—with a clear mandate: drive revenue, retention, and lifetime value through best-in-class lifecycle marketing.This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and analytics. You’ll be responsible for building thoughtful customer journeys, optimizing channel performance, and partnering closely with Creative, e-Comm, and Data to ensure every message is timely, relevant, and on-brand. Location: Malbon HQ is based in Santa Monica, CA. We are currently operating from a hybrid work schedule of 3 days a week in-office. Responsibilities • Drive omni-channel retention and engagement strategies to drive growth for Malbon across North America and international markets • Design and optimize lifecycle flows including welcome, abandonment, post-purchase, win-back, and loyalty • Build segmentation frameworks based on behavior, lifecycle stage, and engagement • Lead email and SMS marketing strategy, execution, and deliverability across multiple platforms • Manage day-to-day performance of email, SMS, and Push, including automated and transactional campaigns • Collaborate with marketing, ecommerce, creative, and external vendors to translate business objectives into CRM plans • Plan and activate email, SMS, and Push for key brand initiatives and product launches • Execute geo-targeted campaigns to support wholesale and field events • Share feedback, best practices, and campaign insights with global and US marketing partners and cross-functional teams • Analyze channel effectiveness using internal and third-party data sources to identify optimization opportunities • Own weekly, monthly, and ad hoc channel reporting and analytics to inform tactics and strategy Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) • 5+ years’ experience in relationship, digital, or email marketing required • Strong understanding of direct-to-consumer strategies and digital marketing • Experience with Google Analytics and 3rd Party Reporting Platforms preferred • Skilled in developing segmentation, automation, and lead generation strategies and executing at the tactical level • Demonstrates creativity and innovation, with a willingness to dive into data and support the team Benefits • Competitive plans for Medical, Dental, Vision • 401(k) + matching • Generous PTO policy + observed holiday calendar • Monthly mobile/internet stipend • Employee discount for eligible products on malbon.com
