Job Summary
As a Data Analyst Intern, you will assist with collecting, processing, and analyzing data to help drive strategic business decisions. This role is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of data analysis techniques and tools, making it ideal for individuals looking to start a career in data science or analytics. This role is perfect for highly analytically minded individuals looking to impact healthcare through technology.
This position will report to the Director, Project Management Office. The role is full-time, hourly and located at our Dallas, TX facility.
The internship duration is expected to last 2 months.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Assist in collecting and cleaning large datasets from various sources
· Support in the analysis and interpretation of data to identify trends and patterns
· Create visualizations and dashboards to present data insights
· Collaborate with team members to define data needs and requirements
· Participate in meetings and provide data-driven insights to stakeholders
· Document data analysis processes and methodologies, producing standard procedures
Minimum Qualifications
The desired education, experience, and skills include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Enrollment or recent graduation in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, required
· Advanced knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools, required
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, preferred
· Effective communication and teamwork skills, preferred
· Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks, preferred
· Experience with Tableau and Tableau Prep, required
· SQL, Python, or experience creating API, highly desired
