QUALIFICATIONS
- Passionate about JOSA's values and mission.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Understanding of machine learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
- Knowledge
in Natural Language Processing, preferably, with previous exposure to
Large Language Models and Transformers models like BERT.
- Excellent communication in Arabic and English and interpersonal skills.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data
Preparation: Collect, clean, and format data for machine learning
models. This includes building pipelines to preprocess text data and
developing ETL processes.
- Model Development: Fine-tune existing
open source models for specific tasks, potentially including
pre-training them. Evaluate and improve the performance of these models.
- Data
Analysis: Extract insights from text data using data mining techniques.
Visualize data and model results for clear communication.
- Deployment
and Monitoring: Implement machine learning models to meet project
requirements. Track the models performance and log metrics.
- Collaboration
and Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with other teams to integrate the
model. Share findings and learnings with peers, partners and the wider
community.
- Staying Current: Continuously learn about new AI advancements and apply them to improve JOSA's models and open-source models.
