We are seeking a Dynamics 365 F&O Consultant to support and enhance service and repair operations for customer‑owned assets serviced within internal service centers. This role will focus on optimizing work order‑driven maintenance processes and supporting internal maintenance teams through effective system design and configuration.
The consultant will play a key role in improving current service management capabilities and helping shape the expansion toward preventative maintenance and proactive scheduling within Dynamics 365.
Role Overview
• Support service and repair processes for customer‑owned assets maintained by internal teams
• Work closely with internal maintenance users who capture labor via a custom Power App
• Support scenarios involving third‑party subcontracted services, where costs are tracked without time entry
• Analyze and optimize work order‑based processes within Dynamics 365 F&O
• Help design and implement preventative maintenance capabilities to enable proactive maintenance planning
Key Responsibilities
• Configure and support Dynamics 365 F&O service and maintenance processes
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand current workflows and identify improvement opportunities
• Support integration and data flow between Dynamics 365 F&O and Power Apps used for labor capture
• Ensure accurate tracking of labor, service costs, and repair activities
• Assist with system enhancements, testing, and documentation
• Provide functional guidance and best‑practice recommendations aligned to service operations
