About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and installing the data infrastructure and backend systems that power our data generation and control platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, researchers, and other engineers to create new products and features that leverage our AI capabilities. You will also iterate rapidly to improve user and developer experience, while advancing scalability, performance, observability, and security.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing, deploying, and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers our AI models
- Collaborating with product managers, researchers, and other engineers to create new products and features

- Building tools to accelerate your own and your teammates' workflows

Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Significant experience with building and deploying scalable data systems and backend infrastructure
- Experience with machine learning and AI technologies, including natural language processing and understanding
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud
- Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
