Job Overview
In this role, you will serve as a Financial Concierge for our walk-in customers, providing personalized support and guidance to help them achieve their financial goals. Your primary responsibilities will include retaining and growing consumer and business customer relationships, identifying financial needs, and recommending suitable deposit, loan, and other banking products and services. You will also process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, educate customers on bank products, services, and technology, and provide exemplary customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Develop a deep understanding of consumer deposit products and consumer lending to educate customers and identify opportunities to grow customer relationships
- Proactively identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners
- Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to build strong partnerships and drive financial growth
- Adhere to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
- Demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, communication, and presentation
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and drive business results
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, skills, and experience. The basic qualifications for this position include:
- High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of customer service or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role
- Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree can be considered in lieu of experience
Preferred qualifications include:
- 1 year or more of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales
- Cash handling skills and comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency to support our diverse customer base
Essential Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Strong sales and customer service skills to drive financial growth and customer satisfaction
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities

Compensation and Benefits
