**About the Role**
As a Billing Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a vital role in our Cash Application/Customer Billing team, working closely with our local finance team, branch customer service, and sales personnel. Your primary focus will be on applying cash received to customer accounts, submitting online invoicing through customer web-based portals, and collaborating with branch personnel on customer credit card transactions. You'll also provide support to the accounting/finance team, assist with sending out customer account statements, and contribute to various tasks as needed.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Process daily cash application for customer payments with high accuracy and speed
* Submit online invoicing through customer web-based portals, ensuring timely and efficient billing
* Collaborate and support branch personnel with customer credit card transactions, providing exceptional customer service
* Assist credit in sending out customer account statements, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely delivery
* Provide support and backup to the accounting/finance team as directed by the Controller or Credit Manager, contributing to the team's success
* Perform other tasks as assigned by the finance team, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting
**Essential Functions**
* Process daily cash application for customer payments
* Submit online invoicing through customer web-based portals

* Assist credit in sending out customer account statements
* Provide support and backup to the accounting/finance team as directed by the Controller or Credit Manager
**Experience, Education, and Skills**
* 2+ years of experience in an important data input role, such as school, medical, retail, or business
* Associate's degree preferred but not required
* Strong data entry skills with good speed and a high level of accuracy
* Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as a team with local and branch personnel
* Good attention to detail and organizational abilities
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
