* Helps in the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transports merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor, ensuring efficient inventory management.
* Independently stocks shelves and recovers merchandise in the store, maintaining a high level of product availability and visual merchandising.
* Accurately handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.
* Remains constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, prioritizing customer safety and well-being.
* Performs all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, adapting to changing priorities and needs.
**Position Requirements:**
* Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in basic math and communication skills.
* Experience: Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments, showcasing adaptability and a willingness to learn.
* Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height, with the ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Availability: Ability to work flexible, full-time schedules to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating a commitment to meeting the needs of our customers and stores.
