As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. You will be the primary point of contact for patients, answering their questions, resolving their concerns, and ensuring that their medication orders are processed in a timely and efficient manner. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide exceptional customer service to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy * Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits * Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system * Communicate and collect copay amounts from patients * Obtain authorizations from insurance companies and healthcare providers * Work with internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders that have accounts receivable or clinical issues * Provide compassionate and genuine care to patients and customers **Requirements** * One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone * One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications * One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude * Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent **Preferred Qualifications** * Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
