**Job Description**
We're currently hiring a Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis (20-30 hours per week). As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of accounting software, including QuickBooks Online (QBO), and other apps. You'll be responsible for downloading financial statements, entering transactions, reconciling bank accounts, and performing basic financial reviews.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Download financial statements and enter transactions into accounting software
* Reconcile bank accounts and perform basic financial reviews
* Work independently to find solutions to problems and share with the team
* Respond promptly to emails and messages from team members
* Collaborate with the team to achieve financial goals
* Participate in ongoing education and training to expand knowledge and understanding of accounting principles
**Essential Qualifications:**
* 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
* Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other accounting software
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field preferred
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience working with cloud-based accounting software
* Knowledge of financial analysis and reporting
* Certification in accounting or a related field (e.g. QuickBooks Certified User)
* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
