We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team at arenaflex in Raleigh, NC. As a key member of our Work for Warriors North Carolina (WFWNC) program, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate client records, generating reports, and analyzing data to support employment assistance services for National Guard service members, veterans, and eligible family members. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of our clients. **Responsibilities** As a Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include: * Maintaining, auditing, and updating program databases to ensure accurate client records * Generating reports and analyzing data to support employment assistance services * Verifying data coding aligns with entry system and procedural standards * Applying Salesforce mainframe policy and data code changes * Reviewing, scanning, and indexing records while updating client information * Extracting and releasing information in accordance with established regulations * Maintaining Salesforce files (e.g., error audits, log creation, and file purging) * Resolving data inconsistencies and communicating effectively with government customers * Developing solutions to address automation contingency plans * Accessing automated programs to identify areas for Salesforce improvements **Reporting & Compliance** As a Data Entry Specialist, you will also be responsible for: * Producing database reports and analyzing data for submission to WFWNC Director * Preparing monthly compliance reports reflecting Army Command drilldown items * Generating additional Salesforce reports as requested * Preparing responses to client department questions for government approval * Following regulations and WFWNC Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidance * Safeguarding confidentiality of service member Privacy Act and HIPAA information **Team Coordination** As a member of our team, you will also be responsible for: * Setting up and sharing work calendar with WFWNC Director and COR at the start of employment * Updating shared calendar with events, meetings, and networking sessions * Applying interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients **Knowledge & Skills** To be successful in this role, you will need: * Knowledge of Veterans employment initiatives preferred * Knowledge of privacy and data protection protocols (e.g. HIPAA, Privacy Act) * Knowledge of standard office procedures * Ability to interpret general direction and execute tasks independently * Ability to work as a team member, manage time, and prioritize workload with little or no supervision * Ability to analyze data patterns and trends to create comprehensive reports * Ability to exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential information * Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) **Background** We are looking for candidates with: * Experience in a military career field preferred * Experience coordinating or supporting program or project activities required * Two (2) years of experience in administrative database entry required * Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite proficiently required * Experience maintaining accurate, organized records in digital and physical formats required * Experience using various software programs to maintain database files and prepare reports required **Education** A Bachelor’s Degree or five (5) years of experience in education, counseling, workforce programs, social services, or recruiting is required. **Work Environment** As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be working in a dynamic office environment with a low to moderate noise level. You will be required to sit for extended periods up to 100% of the time and occasionally move about to access file cabinets and use office equipment.
