**Key Responsibilities:**
As a Maintenance Technician at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
* Maintaining and repairing equipment and machinery in our Circulation Center (DC) offices, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
* Performing assigned preventive support tasks and minor mechanical repairs to material-handling and other equipment.
* Utilizing the arenaflex-developed Preventive Maintenance Worksheets to maintain equipment and machinery according to manufacturer's guidelines and best practices.
* Collaborating with our Expert Maintenance Specialist to perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on advanced automated equipment.
* Ensuring a safe working environment by reporting and addressing potential safety issues related to material-handling equipment or DC office facilities.
* Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
**Essential Capabilities:**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A Partner's certificate in Modern or Support Technology AND at least 2 years of maintenance experience in an office, US Military, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
* OR 4 years of maintenance experience in an office, US Military, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of modern power systems, including single-phase and three-phase power, engines, safety devices, and photo sensors.
* At least 6 months of experience with Programmable Logic Regulator (PLC) logic standards.
* At least 6 months of experience transferring and downloading Programmable Logic Regulators (PLCs), System Control Programming (SCSs), and scanners.
* At least 6 months of experience with devices such as photo sensors, Programmable Logic Regulators (PLCs), remote Info/Result modules (I/OS), servo drives, and variable frequency drives.
* Ability to work at heights up to 100 feet, lift parts and equipment weighing up to 80 pounds, and perform tasks that involve bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:
* Experience with arenaflex's equipment and systems.
* Knowledge of arenaflex's policies and procedures.
* Familiarity with arenaflex's software and technology platforms.
