**Position Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Mechanical Designer to join our Board, Interaction and Optics Designing group. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems and components for display and sensing modules. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product planning, optics, electrical, and software engineering, to deliver high-quality products and solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems and components for display and sensing modules
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and solutions
* Develop and maintain detailed design specifications, drawings, and documentation
* Conduct feasibility studies, analysis, and testing to ensure design meets requirements
* Work with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production and assembly of mechanical components
* Develop and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices
* Collaborate with other teams to identify and implement opportunities for design improvements and cost reductions
* Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, drawings, and test reports
* Participate in design reviews and provide input on design decisions

**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
* 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on optics, mechatronics, and high-volume production
* Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, including kinematics, dynamics, and thermodynamics
* Experience with 3D CAD software, including NX, SolidWorks, and MasterCAM
* Strong understanding of GD&T and drafting practices
* Experience with FEA, stress analysis, and thermal analysis
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and testing
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
* Experience in hardware development, with a focus on high-volume production
* Experience in opto-mechanical design, including camera/optical mounts, kinematic mounts, and coherent system design
* Experience in making independent gear for consumer electronics products/modules
* Experience in making mechanical systems for PCB, FPC, connectors, and other components
* Experience in designing high-accuracy components and motion control systems
* Experience in making for low-molecule conditions/cleanrooms
* Knowledge of machine/PC vision systems
* Knowledge of optical system design, assembly, and testing
* Knowledge of advanced mechanics, automation, and wafer/DUT handling systems
* Programming knowledge, including languages such as Python, C++, and MATLAB
