Job Summary

Blithequark Entertainment Television's Content & Brand Insights team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to work across our portfolio for linear and streaming structures. As a Senior Analyst, you will be joining a best-in-class team that is forward-thinking, innovative, and engaged in helping understand the evolving entertainment landscape. You will be working with top brands and content, including Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars, and will be responsible for various content research projects.

Blithequark Entertainment Television is a set of famous content manufacturers at Blithequark developing original entertainment and information programming for the company's streaming systems Blithequark+, Hulu and Star, and its broadcast and cable networks. Its massive portfolio is made out of ABC Entertainment, ABC News, ABC Owned Television Stations, Blithequark Branded Television, Freeform, FX, Hulu Originals, National Geographic Content and Onyx Collective, further to Blithequark Television Studios, which include twentieth Television, twentieth Television Animation, ABC Signature and Blithequark Television Alternative. Responsible for over 4,500 hours of programming per year across more than 300 applications of all genres, Blithequark Entertainment Television's innovative manufacturers are at the leading edge of groundbreaking storytelling, charming audiences and producing important acclaim.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with project control across all factors of qualitative research (including logistics and coordination, assessment of discussion guides, stimuli control, and note taking) and quantitative research (including reviewing questionnaires, proofing links, data analysis and visualization)
• Support and control ad-hoc requests by reading various sources (across both primary and syndicated research as needed) and then summarizing and communicating key insights
• Create impactful shows and deliverables with the use of relevant data visualization and a capacity to edit/distill findings
• Provide insights into topics impacting our audience, including current content landscape trends and viewing behavior
• Ensure quality and timeliness of tasks and deliverables by managing and coordinating with internal teams and external research vendors

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience supporting/undertaking primary research projects – both qualitative and quantitative at a media/entertainment company, marketing and advertising agency, research provider or brand consultancy
• Solid project control experience – recognition of content research is a big plus!
• Self-starter with passion, energy, and exuberance to impact the future of content
• Confident presence – strong communication skills (verbal, written, listening)
• Exceptional organization, time, and project control skills
• Dedication to delivering the highest quality work; unflagging attention to detail
• Flexible; embraces new assignments with a can-do mindset as priorities change
• Collaborative and capable of working across numerous teams and establishing strong relationships
• Skilled at data visualization and creating impactful shows and deliverables
• Experience with entertainment research and demos including preschoolers/kids/ teens/parents a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced computer skills; Keynote and SPSS experience a plus

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required, ideally in Marketing, Communications, Economics, Psychology or Sociology.
