**Job Summary:**
As a Senior Manager of Self-Service Engineering at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading a team of engineers and developers to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge software solutions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs. **Key Responsibilities:**
* Lead and mentor a team of engineers and developers to design, develop, and deploy software solutions
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
* Establish and maintain a workplace culture that fosters innovation, creativity, and collaboration
* Develop and implement strategies to improve software quality, reliability, and performance
* Work closely with product management and marketing teams to ensure alignment with business objectives
* Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team
* Collaborate with other engineering teams to drive efficiencies and improve overall software development processes
* Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and other technical discussions to ensure high-quality software development
* Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications
* Collaborate with QA teams to ensure that software meets quality and reliability standards
* Participate in the development and implementation of testing strategies and plans
* Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of software solutions
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* At least 4 years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud application development
* Proven experience in leading teams and driving innovation
* Strong technical skills in Java, AngularJS, and NodeJS
* Working knowledge of distributed computing, including Sky blue, GCP, or AWS
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Ability to travel up to 35% of the time, with occasional overnight stays
* Valid passport and ability to travel internationally
* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
* Ability to work flexible hours and be available for emergency response without prior notice
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience managing a budget and leading a team to achieve business objectives
* Experience working with a full project or initiative, including presenting recommendations to senior leadership
* In-depth knowledge of business capabilities and business activities, targets, and strategies
* Familiarity with arenaflex's IT disciplines and interdependencies, and how they drive IT strategy
* Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
* Experience with cloud-based development tools and platforms, including AWS and Azure
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins and Docker
