**Job Summary**
As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in driving success by conducting telephonic outreach to Cigna Healthcare Medicare customers, educating them on plan benefits, and addressing gaps in care. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure timely hand-offs to appropriate care teams, document all interactions for regulatory review, and assist with scheduling medical appointments and connecting customers to case management and community resources.
**Responsibilities**
* Conduct telephonic outreach to Cigna Healthcare Medicare customers to complete health screenings
* Educate customers on plan benefits and address gaps in care
* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely hand-off to appropriate care teams
* Document all interactions for regulatory review
* Assist with scheduling medical appointments and connecting customers to case management and community resources
* Escalate customer concerns or issues appropriately
**Requirements**
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with an empathetic attitude
* Proficiency in navigating computer applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and dual-monitor setups
* Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, and develop action plans with attention to detail
* Knowledge of healthcare and regulatory requirements with an emphasis on Medicare
* Experience in managed care, health services, or population management is preferred
**Preferred Qualifications**
* 1+ years in managed care or a related healthcare field
* 1+ years involving telephone contact and process management

* High school diploma required; college degree preferred
