Your primary responsibilities will include: * Answering incoming phone calls from healthcare providers regarding benefits and eligibility, billing and payments, authorizations for treatment, explanation of benefits, and other related inquiries * Creating written correspondence if issues were not resolved during the call, ensuring that all communication is clear, concise, and professional * Conducting provider outreach phone calls to collect missing information from medical providers, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate * Routing inquiries needing further investigation to the appropriate department and conducting routine case checks as needed, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner * Completing all relevant documentation necessary to track provider issues and facilitate the reporting of overall trends, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date **Required Skills/Experience** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and experience: * 2+ years of remote phone customer service experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of healthcare terminology and concepts * 2+ years of prior work-from-home experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in a remote environment * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with healthcare providers and their patients * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and make sound decisions * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong understanding of software applications and technology **Preferences** While not required, the following skills and experience are preferred: * 2+ years of healthcare industry experience in a provider setting (hospital/doctor's office), with a strong understanding of healthcare operations and procedures * Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software applications * Certification in customer service or a related field, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Healthcare Customer Service Representative (CHCSR) **Work Environment and Schedule** As a remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative/Call Center Professional with arenaflex, you will work from the comfort of your own home, with a flexible schedule that allows you to balance your work and personal life. Your work schedule will be 8-9 hour shifts, with some weekend days required. Shifts will be between 8am-8pm PST, with a minimum of 30 minutes of break time per shift. **Compensation and Benefits** arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, with a starting hourly range of $20-$20. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
