Key Responsibilities
- Service inbound calls while engaging and conversing with entrepreneurs and managers, learning about their needs, and recommending the right American Express SBS products
- Convey high levels of product and service knowledge to communicate relevant product features, benefits, and other aspects of American Express Small Business Services
- Continuously develop key selling skills, including building rapport, understanding customer needs, handling objections, and closing sales
- Provide exceptional customer care by responding to questions about accounts in a high-volume, structured customer care environment
- Document important record information according to established policies and procedures
- Demonstrate integrity: Comply with all regulatory and compliance rules related to servicing and sales practice
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Customer support experience (2 years+) with a focus on building customer loyalty through excellent listening, consultative relationship building, and strong written and verbal communication
- Proven results in a customer care and sales environment (2 years+)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the capability to multitask and navigate in an online environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; education benefits available

- Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment
