Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Operations Project Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely up to 4 hours a day. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure the flawless execution of projects, leveraging your excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, track progress, and ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget, utilizing your strong project management skills.
- Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility, and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Facilitate communication between project teams and senior management, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned with organizational goals, and prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation, and manage project documentation, maintaining accuracy and compliance with company standards, and measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Proven working experience in project management, with a strong understanding of project planning, execution, and monitoring, and excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner, and solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and experience with project management tools and software, such as Asana, Trello, or MS Project.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- At least 2 years of experience in a project coordination or management role, preferably in a large, complex organization, and experience working in a remote or virtual team environment.
- Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies and experience with project management software, such as Jira or Basecamp, and a certification in project management, such as PMP or PRINCE2.
- Experience in budgeting and cost management, and a strong understanding of operational processes and procedures, and experience with data analysis and reporting, and a strong understanding of business operations and management principles.
