**Responsibilities**
As a Property and Casualty Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
* **Fielding inbound communication**: You will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
* **Utilizing knowledge of personal lines insurance**: You will need to have a strong understanding of personal lines insurance and be able to provide expert advice and guidance to customers.
* **Corresponding with customers and clients**: You will be responsible for communicating with customers and clients via phone, email, chat, and social media.
* **Executing client service transactions**: You will be responsible for executing various client service transactions, including policy endorsements, certificates, binders, cancellations, and other tasks.
* **Adhering to performance metrics and quality standards**: You will be expected to meet performance metrics and quality standards, and to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* **Active Resident Property and Casualty or Personal Lines License**: You will need to have a valid license to practice as a Property and Casualty or Personal Lines insurance agent.
* **Minimum 1 year of customer service experience**: You will need to have at least 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or insurance environment.
* **1 year of call center experience**: You will need to have at least 1 year of experience working in a call center environment.
* **High School diploma or GED**: You will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent.
* **Strong written and verbal communication skills**: You will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to communicate effectively with customers and clients.
* **Professional, articulate voice and listening skills**: You will need to have a professional and articulate voice, and be able to listen effectively to customers and clients.
* **Ability to maintain member privacy**: You will need to be able to maintain the confidentiality and privacy of customer information.
* **Internet and research skills**: You will need to have strong internet and research skills, and be able to quickly become an expert in a variety of subjects.
* **Computer savvy**: You will need to be computer literate and able to resolve minor technical issues with minimal assistance.
* **Typing 25 words per minute with 90% accuracy**: You will need to be able to type at a speed of 25 words per minute with 90% accuracy.
* **Ability to critically think through situations and solutions**: You will need to be able to think critically and come up with effective solutions to customer problems.
* **Self-motivated and able to work independently**: You will need to be self-motivated and able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
* **At ease with multi-tasking**: You will need to be able to multitask and handle multiple computer applications at once while holding a conversation with a customer.
