Our team of dedicated professionals is passionate about delivering exceptional results, and we are seeking like-minded individuals to join our ranks. **Job Summary** As a Quality Engineer - Technical Customer Service at arenaflex, you will be responsible for representing the company at its U.S. customers in support of the Quality Assurance function. This role requires a strong and diverse skillset, including quality assurance expertise, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to travel. You will work closely with the Quality Manager and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. **Key Responsibilities** * Involves substantial travel to arenaflex customers in support of the Quality Assurance function. * Provides support to the customer in consultation with the head of Quality Assurance regarding raw and finished parts, prototypes, and serial parts. * Supports complex trials and new product runs at the customers, including documentation of results and presentation of initial sample parts. * Documents results and ensures a smooth and timely exchange of information between arenaflex and the customers based on customer requirements. * Performs analysis of quality concerns utilizing disciplined problem-solving techniques to identify true root causes. * Initiates and monitors corrective actions in cooperation with Quality Assurance. * Coordinates/oversees third-party activities as appropriate (i.e., sorting and rework activities). * Collaborates and leads projects in accordance with applicable arenaflex guidelines. * Serves as Voice of the Customer to arenaflex operations. * Responsible for exceptional customer quality satisfaction, meeting all deadlines with accurate and thorough communication. * Participates in continuous improvement initiatives. * Organizes, plans, conducts, and documents worker-training courses according to customer requirements. * Compiles monthly statistics regarding customer complaints, scrap, and rework. **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field of experience. * 5 years of Quality Assurance experience. * Automotive manufacturing experience preferred. * Strong organizational skills. * Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. * Computer skills with experience using MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Detail-oriented with strong analytical/problem-solving skills. * Fluency in German a plus. * Fluency in Spanish a plus. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with iron castings preferred. * Experience with machining processes preferred. * Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. **Work Environment and Culture** As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. arenaflex values work-life balance and offers a supportive and collaborative work environment.
