**The Role**
As a Remote Customer Service Associate, you'll be the initial point of contact for inquiries from potential and existing members regarding their pensions and other financial benefits. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Providing one-to-one inbound telephone contact with applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees in customer service roles
* Periodically providing support through outbound calls as needed
* Accurately documenting enrollment requests, status changes, complaints, and grievances
* Entering application and enrollment information into a web-based computer system for customers as needed
* Maintaining technical and program policy proficiency within the client rules/guidelines and other related program policies
* Providing clear, complete, accurate, and objective information based on a full understanding of program requirements
**Benefits of this Role**
* Competitive hourly pay rate of $16.00 per hour after training (bi-weekly pay)
* Paid training program with a salary of $15.00 per hour

**Training and Development**
Our paid training program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role. You'll receive comprehensive training on our systems, processes, and policies, as well as ongoing support and feedback to ensure your success. Our training schedule is as follows:
* Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, for 12 weeks
* After training, you'll be available to work between 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM, Monday-Friday
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Must be 18 years of age
* Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
* Previous customer service and/or call center experience
* Proficiency with MS Office and keyboarding
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with applicants, beneficiaries, and co-workers
* Ability to problem solve through analysis and ongoing feedback
* Achieve results through knowledge, empathy, and commitment
* Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds
* Experience working with healthcare and employer benefits is highly preferred
* Ability to successfully complete paid training
* Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift between 8am-10pm EST, Monday-Friday
