About the Role and Program

As our intern, you'll work closely with our Manager of Publishing Finance & Operations and be right in the middle of the action, helping key players in our Sales, Metadata Management, and Operations departments. What You Will Do
Responsibilities and projects encompass:
- Craft and deliver impactful industry trend reports: You'll bring together and present regular business-style reports to our senior management, providing them with the data-driven insights they need to make informed decisions.
- Power the blithequark print run process: Support critical elements of blithequark's weekly print run process, ensuring that the right number of books hits the shelves at the right time.
- Mastering COGS summaries: You'll be responsible for preparing COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) summaries, comparing forecasts with actuals and highlighting growing trends to guide data-driven decisions.
- Inventory optimization expert: Collaborate with our Planning team to analyze sales and inventory movement, allowing us to optimize warehouse inventory and prevent stock shortages.
- Title and contributor metadata optimization: Lead metadata optimization tasks, which include title and contributor (artist/writer) enhancements, to supercharge sales for our valued retailers.

Education
We're looking for undergraduate university students in their junior or senior year (or currently graduated within the past six months) pursuing a bachelor's degree in research, analytics, or a related field.
Eligibility Requirements and Program Information
To be eligible for this internship, you must:
- Be enrolled in a regular university/university taking at least one course in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) preceding participation in the internship application.
- Have graduated from a university/university within 6 months at the time of application posting.
- Be currently taking part in a blithequark College Program or blithequark Professional Internship.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Not have completed 365 days of continuous employment on a blithequark internship or program.
- Own unrestricted work authorization.
