Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Business Advisor - TSYS Processing Solutions Specialist to join our team. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive technical understanding of our company's products and services, including how they integrate into the customer's operations and needs.
- Build customer confidence in our technical solutions through exceptional guidance and support.
- Involved in all stages of a project or issue, including refining specifications, designing products or systems, and managing projects.
- Perform analysis, ensure accuracy, and recommend alternative solutions within project strategy and deliverable prioritization.
- Understand client needs and impacts to their systems, adjusting delivery to meet their requirements.
- Monitor high-level implementation plans and work with business, technical, operations, and end-users to deliver desired solutions.
- Provide business direction, handle client negotiation actions, and review defined system requirements to ensure they meet business needs.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for complex projects, guiding understanding of requirements and impacts to the customer, system, and strategy.
- Participate in and lead client-facing meetings, joint venture discussions, vendor partnerships, and client and internal development team working sessions to determine solution approaches.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a technical business advisory role, with scripting knowledge, bankcard industry knowledge, and understanding of data structures.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Business, or equivalent work experience, such as relevant technical background and/or work product/SME knowledge in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Technical skills in Database Development (Oracle 10g/11g PL/SQL), Database Administration (Oracle 10g/11g), C, C++, ANSI C, VB.NET, ASP.NET, and Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux Operating Systems.
- Certifications in database or other technologies, such as Oracle, Web, Java, or PCI certifications.
