Responsibilities: Oversee the financial operations of the hospital, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to accounting principles and regulatory guidelines. Manage financial reporting processes, including the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Perform financial analysis and forecasting to support decision-making and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue optimization. Monitor revenue cycle management, including billing, collections, and accounts receivable, to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize delinquencies. Ensure proper allocation of expenses and revenues across departments, cost centers, and funding sources. Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and maintain compliance with financial regulations. Collaborate with department heads and administrators to develop and manage departmental budgets, providing guidance on financial matters and variance analysis. Prepare and submit financial reports to external stakeholders, such as government agencies, auditors, and grantors, ensuring timely and accurate compliance. Qualifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and healthcare accounting practices. Proficiency in financial software and systems, such as ERP systems and financial management software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
