About the position Responsibilities • Act as a project manager, collaborating cross-functionally with IT, vendor teams, clinical staff, compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure clinical system functionality aligns with future state workflows and standardization. • Collaborate with leadership in project/program planning and development to support department and organizational initiatives. • Support the optimization and strategic development of the electronic health record (EHR), ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient design in collaboration with staff from all departments. • Assess technology needs for clinicians and providers, leading efforts in planning, implementing, and evaluating solutions. • Lead the design, development, testing, selection, implementation, and evaluation of new or modified informatics solutions, data structures, and decision-support mechanisms that are relevant to the care of patients. • Manage complex interactions between applications being implemented and various patient care processes and workflows. • Provide onboarding and ongoing training to healthcare staff on health information system deployment and management and develop training tools to support these efforts. • Develop and adhere to policies, procedures, and standards to meet all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, and currently accepted legal standards. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Nursing, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. • Master's degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred. • Valid license in one of the following: RN, LPN, LCAS, LCMHC, LMFT, or LCSW is preferred.
