Role Description This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tucson, AZ. • Fully Remote - Must be located in AZ • Will be placed on a shift working 20 hours a week - Mondays will always be a full 8 hour shift. • Training: 4 weeks, Monday through Friday - 8am to 5pm (40 hours) Schedule and register patient appointments and/or provide information for other requests (e.g., addresses/directions, phone numbers, hours of operations, other departments, such as billing, etc.). • Process all phone, fax, email, and other communication channel requests with an emphasis on efficiency and accuracy. • As appropriate, assist new members with introduction to and explanation of available services, processes and availability of providers. • Update patients of the status of their referral or authorizations. Qualifications • Must have 1+ year of scheduling experience in a healthcare setting and handling high volume calls in a call center, adhering to performance metrics.
