Role Description Amid clinical workforce shortages, rising healthcare costs and concerns about inequity, IMPaCT unlocks the power of the grassroots community health workforce. We find, train and enable Community Health Workers: caring people who keep their communities healthy. Who you are: • You have lived experience of injustice and wake up in the morning to eliminate it for your community. • You love being in front of a room, organizing, motivating and training people, with content that you've created. • You are a storyteller at heart. • You are bilingual. • You can teach to a wide range of audiences from Community Health Workers to senior healthcare executives. • You can move outside of the box and be elbow-to-elbow with your trainees, to make sure that they're actually implementing what they learned. This is a part-time consultant role, but could evolve into a full-time role. What you'll do: • Deliver virtual trainings to Community Health Workers from organizations all across the country. • Deliver virtual trainings to program leaders and stakeholders. • Travel to different organizations across the country to provide on-site, elbow-to-elbow support with program launches and to provide ongoing training and development for established programs. • Conduct on-site visits to Community Health Worker organizations to assess fidelity to the evidence-based IMPaCT model. • Develop excellent stories that demonstrate the impact of CHWs. • Develop and facilitate engaging custom workshops and provide troubleshooting to partner organizations. • Deliver training using existing curricula that supports an evidence-based intervention. • Direct training logistics, including registration management and scheduling. • Provide administrative support for certification approval applications. Qualifications • 2+ years of prior training and facilitation experience in various modalities. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to troubleshoot in the moment and think on your feet. • Understanding of community health, social medicine, and adult learning theory. • Passion for training and professional development. • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to work on-site at partner locations across the nation. • Experience utilizing a learning management system.
