The role of an Industrial Equipment Technician centers on ensuring equipment reliability through the troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and calibration of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic systems within Technical Operations, following established manuals and procedures. This position entails performing repairs and preventive maintenance on various industrial equipment throughout the facility. To excel in this role, candidates must possess strong skills in diagnosing and fixing industrial machinery, along with a solid understanding of AC/DC motors and controls, Programmable Logic Controllers, combustion systems, metering, air conditioning, conduit work, and the ability to read schematics.
Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks):
• Utilize the computer maintenance management system to execute and finalize daily maintenance tasks while effectively operating various hand and power tools, measuring instruments, and testing equipment.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate with team members, ensuring continuity across shifts by documenting actions and addressing any irregularities or planned activities.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment, while proactively identifying and resolving issues to support overall team objectives.
