Please note: The assigning of home hospital teachers will be based on the credential need of the student and the number of students enrolled in the program.
COMPENSATION:$55 per hour, up to 5 hours per week
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):- Valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential or Education Specialist Credential

JOB DESCRIPTION
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Provide instructional support to individual students approved for Home Hospital (General Ed and Special Ed). Up to 5 hours per week.
REPORTS TO:
Immediate Supervisor
Director of Student Support Services
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Provide instructional support to individual students approved for Home Hospital
- Must be familiar with APEX, or Clever
- Must be familiar with Canvas and distance learning strategies
- Maintain contact with family throughout the week
- Provide district administrator and CVISS counselor with updates regularly on student progress
- Must be able to meet with student after school hours virtually or in person
