Position: Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Location: Henderson, NC... Type: Full-Time, Onsite Duration: ASAP, 2024 - May 23, 2025 Schedule: Monday Friday, 37.5 hours per week (including bus duties AM/PM) Caseload/Details: Caseload: 1:1 care for a high school student with a tracheostomy. Responsibilities include tracheostomy care, individual health plan or plan of care, health evaluations, and assessments. The RN or LPN will also be responsible for riding the bus to and from school with the student. Special Requirements: RN: Must have experience in tracheostomy care, health evaluations, and reporting to the district nurse supervisor or designee. LPN: Will be considered if they have tracheostomy experience and are familiar with obtaining doctors' orders for the student. Bill rate for LPN will be based on experience. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care for a student with a tracheostomy. Assist with bus duties in the morning and afternoon. Develop and maintain an individual health plan or plan of care. Perform health evaluations and assessments as needed.
