As a Remote Infusion Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work independently, build strong relationships with patients and their families, and enjoy a flexible schedule. As a valued member of our team, you will: Provide a wide range of infusion treatments in patients' homes Utilize your clinical expertise and personal touch to help patients recover in the comfort of their own homes Conduct one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education according to the physician's plan of treatment Develop strong relationships with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare partners Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and clinical requirements in specialty infusion through ongoing training and certification opportunities Requirements: Current RN license in the state of work, with additional licensure possible in multi-state service areas Minimum one year of nursing experience, with IV-related experience a plus Current CPR certification Valid driver's license and car insurance Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word to document and track patient care activity Participation in on-call rotation as needed Preferred Qualifications: Three years of nursing experience One year of infusion experience Home healthcare experience About Aetna: Aetna is a leading health insurance company that offers a range of health insurance plans to individuals and employers.
