Responsibilities
- Model buildings using Revit design software
- Perform HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems design
- Run energy calculations using Trane Trace, EnergyPro, and other energy modeling software
- Run ventilation and indoor air quality calculations, as well as a variety of plumbing calculations
- May be called upon to complete 2D-drafting using AutoCAD tools
- Coordinate mechanical design with electrical and architectural team
Skills
- An associates degree in mechanical design, bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering with an emphasis on mechanical
