Department: ICE | IMSL MS PRN Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: The Medical Assistant, (MA), works under the direct supervision of the clinic physician by assisting in the examination and treatment of patients. The MA will conduct patient interviews and all required screenings, measure vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records information in patients' Electronic Medical Record (EMR). The MA will also draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. May also perform EKGs.
