Osseo Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a dependable, organized, and community-minded individual to serve as a Part-Time Administrative Assistant. This role supports the daily operations of the Chamber and plays an important part in maintaining strong relationships with local businesses and community partners.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update Chamber membership and business records
- Track membership renewals and contact members regarding renewals
- Reach out to local businesses to: Answer questions about the Chamber, Learn how the Chamber can support them, Encourage non-member businesses to join
- Attend monthly Chamber meetings and assist with Chamber events as needed
- Monitor and manage the Chamber email inbox
- Update and maintain the Chamber’s online event calendar
- Assist with the coordination of Chamber events, meetings, and initiatives
- Communicate and collaborate with other local organizations and community partners
Skills
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and remotely
- Basic proficiency with computer spreadsheets, email, and online tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up consistently
- Friendly, professional, and confident in communicating with local business owners/organizations
- Interest in community involvement and local economic development
