We are seeking a Washington‑licensed Estate Planning Attorney to join us as a contractor. This role is ideal for an experienced EP attorney who values flexibility, autonomy, meaningful client relationships, and a highly supportive, remote‑first team. What You’ll Do Represent clients in estate planning and related legal matters Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents Advise clients on their options, goals, and long‑term plans with clarity and empathy Support IPP work for family law clients by reviewing and advising on incapacity documents (IPP) Handle Probate and other hourly fee‑based matters as they arise Build strong client relationships grounded in dignity, strength, and clear communication What You Bring Willingness to embrace coaching and practice radical candor A strong sense of community and desire to contribute to it A passion for empowering clients with information so they can identify and pursue their goals Ability to connect with individuals from diverse cultural, educational, ethnic, generational, and socioeconomic backgrounds Minimum Qualifications Active license to practice law in Washington State At least 3 years of experience in Washington estate planning law Preferably 2 years of experience in Washington probate law Exceptional legal writing skills (a writing sample will be required) Reliable internet and phone access Collaborative spirit, openness to feedback, and ability to thrive in a remote team environment About Us Founded in 2015, EBFLG has operated remotely since day one.
