Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) is a leading organization dedicated to enhancing the practice of medicine in Pennsylvania. We support healthcare providers through advocacy, education, and innovative solutions to improve patient care. This remote, part-time position offers a daily flexible schedule during core business hours with a maximum fifteen (15) hours per week while contributing to the vital operations of our Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs. This position does not require specialized knowledge of CME accreditation requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Review and respond to telephone and email inquiries received from members and organizational customers, redirect communications to other CME team members as appropriate.
- Fulfill requests for CME certificates, transcripts, etc. Track forms and attachments received from CME customers and file in appropriate electronic files.
- Review course completion reports and process any changes and resubmissions needed.
- Assist with reaccreditation notices and survey confirmations.
- Process volunteer/faculty expense reimbursement forms/check requests.
- Review activity application tracking software for overdue notices.
- Assist with meeting scheduling, logistics, and food arrangements for remote and/or in-person meetings.
- Actively assesses and improves contributions to company culture by practicing advocacy meaningfully, encouraging and respecting individuals’ ideas and experiences, elevating colleagues’ confidence to bring their whole and best selves to work, and navigate all communication based in active listening and thoughtful dialogue.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:
Assist with coordination of other CME, Membership & Services, and/or PAMED initiatives, as well as other duties that may be requested or assigned.

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: Required Skill/Education/Knowledge
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.
- Experience with Zoom technology or a comparable virtual meeting platform.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote environment.
- Previous administrative experience required; a willingness to learn is essential.
Salary Description
$19.00 per hour
