Key Responsibilities: Review and process medication prior authorization requests according to established guidelines and policies. Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to obtain necessary information for approvals. Verify patient eligibility and coverage for prescribed medications. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to resolve issues and provide excellent customer service. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to pharmacy operations. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in medication guidelines. Required Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential (preferred). Strong understanding of medical terminology. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in using computer systems and data entry. Ability to work independently and in a remote environment. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Previous experience in pharmacy operations is a plus.
