As part of this exciting journey, we are seeking an accomplished, customer-obsessed, and results-oriented Principal Product Manager to lead our Customer Data Platform (CDP) roadmap. About the Role The Principal Product Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our CDP, which will enable a single, unified view of our customers by combining multiple data sources. This will empower operational and analytical use cases for sales, claims, servicing, marketing, fraud prevention, and more. Our vision is to evolve the CDP into the ultimate data experience for product-led growth and business professionals who aren't comfortable with code. As a Principal Product Manager, you will be responsible for building and driving the CDP roadmap, reporting to the Senior Director of CDP & Identity. Key Responsibilities - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Servicing, Sales, Fraud, Marketing, and UX, to understand use cases and segmentation needs. - Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate those needs into user stories for Data & Analytics, technical, and engineering teams. - Develop a comprehensive CDP implementation strategy aligned with overall product and customer success goals. - Identify new data sources and onboard existing data sources to the CDP. - Evolving our identity resolution models (deterministic and probabilistic) to ensure accurate customer identification. - Build and run queries to answer questions, build segments, and create solutions for users of the CDP to self-serve. - Serve as the CDP subject matter expert, gathering information to create accurate, informative, and resonant user stories for both the business and data teams. - Deeply understand customer needs to define priorities, inspire the broader team, and deliver best-in-class experiences and enabling capabilities. - Help build the product roadmap, define user stories, and drive trade-off decisions. - Identify new products and features on behalf of the customer, leading 1-2 scrum teams to align on mission and deliver great results iteratively. - Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to measure results, inform the roadmap, and achieve benefit, adoption, and financial results. - Collaborate with Sr PMs, Analytics, Engineering, and Business Leaders to drive scalable data solutions. - Present effectively to high-level stakeholders, set clear priorities and direction, and build bridges across groups. - Own the product end-to-end by developing business models, defining and analyzing success metrics, and managing strategic projects. - Champion and educate product managers and lines of businesses on what the arenaflex CDP can do for their business. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 7+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager, including 4+ years in managing Customer Data Platforms. - Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results in an iterative development environment. - 4+ years of experience working on a CDP, Reverse ETL, Data Warehouse, or Integration-as-a-Service product. - Alignment-building expertise, with the ability to listen, understand, and influence at a near-executive level. - Fluency with concepts like unique identifier, API, ETL, and more. - Data proficiency, with the ability to source, analyze, and present quantitative and qualitative data. - Excellent writing skills, with the ability to write clearly and concisely, favoring plain language over jargon. - Initiative, with the ability to take ownership of problems when next steps aren't clear. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: - Insurance industry experience. - An Engineering background. Compensation and Perks The annual salary range for this role is $128,000.00 - $224,000.00.
