They are expanding their footprint in Southern Virginia and seeking a senior leader who can drive excellence across multiple active and upcoming civil projects. Job Description The Project Executive - Civil Construction - Remote will: • Provide executive‑level leadership across active pump station projects in Richmond and Norfolk, as well as upcoming water/wastewater treatment facilities. • Oversee project strategy, planning, schedule performance, cost control, and overall execution. • Lead, mentor, and support project managers, superintendents, and field teams to ensure safe, high‑quality delivery. • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including public agencies, design partners, and subcontractors. • Monitor risk, negotiate change orders, and ensure compliance with contract requirements. • Drive continuous improvement across operational processes, team performance, and project delivery standards. • Represent the company in executive and client‑facing meetings, ensuring alignment on goals and outcomes. The Successful Applicant The Project Executive - Civil Construction - Remote will have: • Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure projects: pump stations, water/wastewater treatment plants, or heavy civil works. • Knowledge of the Southern Virginia market (Richmond, Hampton Roads, or surrounding regions). • Experience with public agency stakeholders-bonus for backgrounds with WMATA, VDOT, or other transportation bodies. • Strong executive‑level communication and leadership skills. • Ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects and teams in a mostly remote capacity. • A background in industrial, heavy civil, or utility infrastructure-diverse civil experience is welcomed.
