**Hiring a Banking Project Manager with ERP (SAP) Modernization/Migration Experience** Position: Project ManagerProject: ERP (Accounting/Finance System) Transformation/ModernizationLocation: Remote - Must live in Charlotte, Raleigh or Greensboro, NCDuration: 12-18+ Month Contract (Multi-Year Program)Type: W2 contract, paid hourly.Industry: BankingPay: Not defined by client Must Haves:Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, OneStream, Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS), and/or Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA).Major financial institution transformative program and/or project management experience. Background in Accounting and Finance as either a business unit stakeholder or project management role with experience ensuring GAAP compliance, regulatory reporting, and profitability.Proven ability to effectively manage complex projects and initiatives, including multiple business partners across different areas as well as large / complex data sets; demonstrated organization skills.Proven stakeholder relationship building skills to engage and drive cross team collaboration at the project member and senior management stakeholder levels. Ability to communicate project status with equal effectiveness at all leadership and team member levels from both a project execution and business progression terms. Experienced in driving large scale tech-focused programs/projects with large internal and vendor resource teams.Ability to create and drive multiple project/workstream schedules in parallel. Ideal Candidate Will Also Have:Prior experience with system and user acceptance test planning activities.Experience with AI and automation strategy development and execution.Experience with data strategy development and execution.PMP certification.Ability to translate conversations with process owners and stakeholders into effective strategic plans, project objectives, and schedules to achieve expected project outcomes.Bachelors Degree Role Responsibilities:Plans and coordinates closely with business/function area managers and cross functional subject matter experts and key project team members to drive project activities and issue resolution. Works closely with, and provides direction to business, operations and technology leads to support program needs.Ensures that project activities are on a path to deliver benefits realization.Installs an appropriate risk management plan for the project and ensures adherence to company and unit requirements.Follow our PMLC methodology, risk management routines, and project governance activities (working closely with Risk Program Portfolio Lead and Lead Business partners).Proactively works to engage key stakeholders to understand and mitigate any cross team concerns/differences and leads group discussions to develop a resolution path to keep project activities on-schedule with appropriate risk mitigation.Leads teams or multiple teams of internal and/or external resources on a project basis.Manages project budget forecast and actuals in accordance with finance and reporting routines and methodologies.Creates, maintains, analyzes and collectively manages variances to the project schedules and makes recommendation and/or creates action plan to mitigate negative variances or to resolve issues.Prepares dashboard reporting to identify and communicate the health of the project for use by key executives (in alignment with existing project governance routines).Prepares documentation/presentations to support overall workstream efforts and internal reporting routines, as neededProactively engages key stakeholders to plan, manage, and risk mitigate key items and critical path activities.Proactively works to engage key stakeholders to understand and mitigate any cross team concerns/differences and leads group discussions to develop a resolution path to keep project activities on-schedule with appropriate risk mitigation.Assist in the identification of change introduced by the project and coordinated with appropriate teams for planning and executing on ""readiness"" plans: Client Communications, Teammate Communications, and Teammate Training.
