Job Summary We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our Centralized Sitter Program at UCHealth. As a key member of our team, you will provide top-notch patient care in a virtual health setting, utilizing the nursing process to deliver exceptional outcomes. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to prioritize patient wellness, promote evidence-based practice, and drive quality improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in a virtual health setting, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes, prioritizing patient wellness, and promoting evidence-based practice. Model proficiency in nursing practice, precepting new staff members, and contributing to the development of nursing knowledge and skills. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing evidence-based solutions. Maintain accurate and timely patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, promoting patient-centered care and education. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Minimum 6 months of nursing (RN) experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with card in-hand before start date. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute care or virtual health settings. Certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Med-Surg, Critical Care). Experience with electronic medical records and telehealth platforms. Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need: Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practice.
