The AI Architect will lead the artificial intelligence and machine learning practice, designing scalable AI/ML systems and collaborating with teams to ensure alignment with organizational strategies.
Responsibilities
• Design and oversee the implementation of scalable, robust AI/ML infrastructure and platforms
• Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and methodologies
• Establish ML engineering standards, model governance frameworks, and ethical AI guidelines
• Build re-usable building blocks and software components for end-to-end AI/ML pipelines following agile methodologies
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure high-quality data pipelines and governance
• Implement robust testing, monitoring, and validation frameworks for ML systems
• Perform assessment of deployed models and improve the models to meet customer requirements in terms of accuracy, latency and throughput
• Provide guidance on AI best practices and ensure alignment with industry trends and company goals
Skills
• Masters degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or a related technical field
• 5+ years' experience in designing, training, and deployment of AI/ML models in a production environment
• 5+ years' experience in supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling
• 5+ years' experience with generative models, including Large Language Models (LLMs), diffusion models, GANs, VAEs, and multimodal AI systems
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and familiarity with languages like Java or Scala
• 5+ years' experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and other AI/ML frameworks
• 5+ years' experience with hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure ML services and infrastructure
• 5+ years' experience with model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management tools
• 5+ years' experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and roadmaps
• Authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
• PhD preferred
• Experience with real-time ML systems
• Knowledge with natural language processing, computer vision, recommendation systems, or other AI domains
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical partners/customers
• Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing technical teams
• Knowledge of AI ethics, fairness, and responsible AI practices
• Prior experience in a high-growth technology company
• Understanding of regulatory compliance in AI (GDPR, CCPA, industry-specific regulations)
• Experience with A/B testing and experimental design
• IT/OT Architecture Knowledge
• Edge Computing Knowledge
